ROC Devon & Cornwall: the story thus far...
Having mobilised a car-load to drive to the ROC Ambassadors Conference in May of 2011, ROC Ambassadors Roger Bartlett & Chris Clewer initiated the journey from an idea to a thriving initiative!
A launch for Devon & Cornwall was the first step for this area, so immediately following the conference Debra and the SouthWest team got started with the plans. On October 20, 2011 the fruits of their labor was evident to all as over 1200 people gathered at the Plymouth Pavilions for a celebration event - the Launch of ROC Devon & Cornwall.
Following this exciting event, a group of highly motivated ROC Ambassadors from across the peninsula began meeting together to keep the momentum. 2 ROC Cafés have opened, one in Plymouth and one in Paignton and 2 other ROC Projects are in the works in Torbay and Torrington.
