Spring Harvest

ROC at Spring Harvest

A team from ROC went to Spring Harvest at Butlins holiday complex in Skegness in April, which was attended by around 3,000 people.

Debra was invited to speak about how churches can best engage with their community and we had hundreds of conversations with people from all over the UK. It was quite a pleasant surprise to discover see and hear just how passionate and enthusiastic churches were about the opportunities for greater engagement with their local community and we are sure that many new projects will emerge from these discussions.

Spring Harvest took the theme “Route 66”; speakers were asked to explore the Bible (the King James Version will celebrate its 400th anniversary this year) and its purpose and relevance for today. Delegates at the conference were inspired to return home with a renewed vision for change and with plenty of practical ideas.
