Constable Tracy Sharam

Devon & Cornwall Police

Tracy Sharam
Throughout my work as a Police Officer I have been given
many opportunities to fulfill my ambition of helping others. I feel that being a ROC Ambassador gives me an outlet for my endless enthusiasm and thirst for initiatives.

I joined the Police back in 1988 and my sole reason was for the fact that I wanted to help people. Throughout my working life as a Police Officer I have been given many opportunities to fulfil my ambition of helping others.

I feel that being a ROC Ambassador will enable me to progress this further and find an outlet for my endless enthusiasm and thirst for initiatives. By helping others I feel fulfilled and revitalised by other peoples' warmth and gratitude. I like to make that extra special effort to give generously my time and love to those in need.

The project I am working on at this time was created at the recent ROC Conference in Plymouth where I am creating ROC Help for those people who live on the street, are addicted to alcohol or substances to offer them a place to go during the day and receive advice, refreshments and companionship.
